Golden Hour Glow: Mya, Dylan, and Their Sweetest Addition

There is a specific kind of magic that happens when the Florida sun starts to dip below the treeline, casting everything in a warm, honey-hued light. But when you add a couple like Mya and Dylan into that golden hour field—plus their adorable Australian Shepherd—that magic turns into something straight out of a dream.

Welcome back to the Darling Diaries, where I get to share the heart-fluttering moments from my recent sessions. Today, we’re venturing into the tall grass for Mya and Dylan’s couples-styled session, and trust me, you’re going to want to scroll to the end for the puppy snuggles.

A Love That Feels Like Home

From the moment Mya and Dylan stepped out of the car, their connection was palpable. Mya looked absolutely stunning in an olive green tiered maxi dress that complemented the natural landscape perfectly, while Dylan kept it classic and timeless in a crisp white henley.

What I love most about these two is how effortlessly they inhabit each other’s space. Whether they were walking hand-in-hand through the overgrown field or Dylan was leaning in for a quiet forehead kiss, nothing felt forced. It’s that "best friend" kind of love—the kind that feels grounded, easy, and incredibly deep.

Three’s a Company (The Furry Kind!)

We couldn't have a photo session without the real star of the show! Bringing your dog to any photo session is always a good idea in my book. Their sweet Aussie brought so much energy and playfulness to the shoot.

Some of my favorite shots from the day are the ones where they’re simply loving on their pup. It’s a glimpse into their daily life—the little family they are building together. Seeing the way Dylan looks at Mya, and then the way they both look at their pup, just proves that the best adventures are the ones shared with those we love most.

Capturing the "Quiet" Moments

While I love a good "everyone look at the camera" shot, my heart lives in the in-between.
