Pink Skies, Salt Air, & A Whole Lot of Love: The Strong Family’s Dreamy Beach Maternity
"Absolutely DREAMY" is the only way to describe the Strong family’s recent session. As a lifestyle maternity photographer, there is something about the Brevard County coast that just makes my heart skip a beat—especially when you pair it with a family this sweet and a sunset this perfect.
We headed out to one of my favorite East Coast beach locations for an evening filled with cotton candy skies and those effortless, "I can’t believe this is my life" kind of moments.
Golden Hour Magic & Coastal Textures
The weather in Central Florida can be a bit of a wild card, but the coast showed up for us in the best way possible. We had a stunning backdrop of pink and orange hues reflected in the surf as the tide rolled in around our feet.

The Radiant Mama: Mom wore a stunning, flowing white floral maxi dress that caught the ocean breeze and perfectly highlighted her growing bump.
The Big-Sisters-to-Be: The girls were adorable in matching blue ruffled floral dresses that popped beautifully against the sand and sea oats.
The Dad: Keeping it classic, Dad’s blue button-down tied the whole family’s coastal palette together effortlessly.

What I love most about maternity photography in Brevard County is the variety of textures we get to play with. We started our session wandering through the sun-drenched sand dunes and sea oats, which created such a soft, organic feel.
As the sun dipped lower, we moved toward the dramatic rock jetty. Seeing the girls curiously look at Mom’s belly while standing near the giant rocks was one of those "stop-and-stare" moments that perfectly captured the anticipation of a new baby. We ended the night the only way you should at the beach—splashing in the waves and walking hand-in-hand along the shoreline.
