Salty Air & Three Wild Boys: A Golden Hour Dream at Jetty Park
If there’s one thing I’ve learned as a Central Florida family photographer, it’s that three boys plus a wide-open beach equals pure, unscripted magic. There is no "staying still" in a house full of brothers, so why should a photoshoot be any different?
For the Haines Family’s sunset session, we headed to one of the most iconic spots for East Coast family photography: Jetty Park in Cape Canaveral. With the massive ships sliding out of Port Canaveral in the distance and those famous rock jetties reaching into the Atlantic, it provided the perfect playground for this crew to just be themselves.
The Perfect Coastal Palette
Can we talk about the styling for a second? Mom absolutely nailed the "coastal but elevated" look.
The Pop of Color: Her rust-toned wrap dress was the ultimate choice—it offered a warm, earthy contrast to the cool blues of the water and the deep greys of the rocks.
The Blues & Stripes: By dressing Dad and the boys in various shades of light blue and classic stripes, the family looked coordinated without feeling "matchy-matchy."
The Texture: The mix of linen and cotton kept things breathable for that Florida humidity while looking timeless against the sea oats and sand.
Brotherhood on the Rocks
With three boys, you don’t "pose"—you facilitate. We spent the evening chasing the tide, climbing the jetties, and letting the boys explore. Some of my favorite captures from the day weren't the ones where everyone was looking at the camera, but the moments in between:

That quiet, stolen moment of Mom and Dad stealing a kiss while the chaos of three boys swirled around them (the true reality of parenthood!).
Pro Tip: Jetty Park is unique because it offers a massive rock pier that acts as a natural "stage." It adds a layer of texture and "mood" that you just don't get at a standard flat beach.
