Chasing Springs & New Beginnings: Brad + Bailey’s Radiant Maternity Session
There are some sessions that just feel like coming home. If you’ve been following The Darling Diaries for a while, you might recognize these two faces. Brad and Bailey aren't just clients; they are dear friends I’ve had the joy of watching grow together over the years. When they told me they were expecting, I knew we had to plan something as timeless and natural as their love.
For their maternity portraits, we headed to the heart of Florida’s crystal-clear springs. There is something so symbolic about the springs—the constant flow, the hidden depths, and that pure, refreshing energy. It felt like the perfect backdrop for a couple stepping into the most transformative chapter of their lives.
A Love Years in the Making
Brad and Bailey have been a "forever" kind of couple since the day I met them. Seeing Brad look at Bailey—especially now, as she carries their little one—is enough to make anyone get a bit misty-eyed. Whether they were dancing on the limestone rocks or sharing a quiet kiss by the water’s edge, the excitement for their baby was palpable.
The Session Details
Bailey was a literal vision in her off-the-shoulder white lace gown. The way the fabric flowed against the emerald greens of the palms and the turquoise water created a look that was part boho-dream, part classic elegance.

The Tropical Path: Capturing those "candid" moments of them just walking and dreaming about the future.
The Jungle Roots: Sitting among the ferns and fallen trees, reminding us that their family is about to grow deep new roots.

Brad and Bailey, thank you for trusting me with these memories. It was truly my honor and pleasure to capture this "in-between" moment for you. You two are going to be the most incredible parents, and I can’t wait to meet the little soul who is lucky enough to call you Mom and Dad.
