There is a specific kind of magic that happens when the Florida sun begins to dip below the horizon, painting the Oviedo skies in shades of peach and lavender. But when you add a glowing mama-to-be, a soon-to-be big sister, and the news of twins, that magic simply doubles.
Welcome back to The Darling Diaries! I am still swooning over this recent session. We headed out to one of my favorite local fields, where the tall grass caught the light perfectly, creating a dreamlike backdrop for this growing family’s story.
A Family Love Story in the Making
This session wasn't just about a beautiful bump—it was about the transition of a family. One of my absolute favorite moments to capture was the connection between this stunning mama and her daughter. Seeing her lean in for those tender belly kisses was enough to melt anyone's heart! She is already such a natural big sister, and you can just feel the anticipation in every frame.
We leaned into a classic, romantic aesthetic with a boho-chic touch:
The Look: Mama looked absolutely radiant in her off-the-shoulder white lace gown, perfectly complemented by her daughter’s matching lace dress.
The Details: We set up a whimsical picnic under the moss-draped oaks, featuring a vintage basket, fresh fruit, and yellow roses.
The Reveal: To celebrate the "double trouble" on the way, we hung two tiny sage green knotted gowns and ultrasound photos on a clothesline against the rugged bark of an old oak tree.
