Senior year is a team effort, and nobody plays a bigger role than Mom. Honored to capture this special moment with a football star and his number one fan!
There is an electric kind of energy that hits you when you walk onto a high school football field. It’s the sound of the crowd, the bright lights, and the years of hard work etched into every yard line. But for a senior, it’s also the realization that this chapter is reaching its final, most meaningful quarter.
When I met up with this Lake Mary Rams senior and his mom, I knew we weren’t just taking "football photos." We were documenting a legacy.
Behind Every Athlete is a Great Mom
We often focus on the player under the helmet, but senior year is truly a shared journey. While he’s been putting in the work on the field, Mom has been the one in the stands for every win, every loss, and every grueling practice in between.
Seeing these two together was a highlight of my week. From the high-energy piggyback ride on the field to the quiet, proud moments sitting together on those iconic red bleachers, their bond was the real star of the show. It’s clear that while he wears the number 50 jersey, she’s the one who has had his back since day one.
Capturing the Details
We made sure to lean into the authentic "Friday Night Lights" vibe:
The Colors: The vibrant red and white of the Rams stadium provided the perfect backdrop for his black polo and game-day jersey.
The Meaning: I loved capturing the personal details, like the Philippians 4:13 tattoo—a powerful reminder of the faith and strength that carries him through the season.
The Laughter: My favorite shots are always the ones where they forgot I was there, and the genuine smiles just took over.
To the Class of 2026 (and the Parents Cheering Them On)
Senior portraits are about more than just a yearbook photo. They are a way to freeze time before life picks up speed. Whether you’ve spent your high school years on the turf, in the theater, or in the lab, these moments deserve to be celebrated with the people who helped you get there.
Mom, Dad—get in the frame! These are the memories you’ll be looking back on when he’s off to his next big adventure.
Are you ready to tell your senior story?

I’d love to help you capture this milestone in a way that feels exactly like you.
